Aaron Schulenburg

Executive Director for the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS)

A passionate representative of the collision repair community, Aaron Schulenburg serves as the Executive Director for the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS), a national trade association representing over 40 affiliate associations, more than 6,000 collision repair businesses and nearly 60,000 specialized professionals within the collision repair industry.

Having previously held positions at collision repair facilities in Arizona, Delaware, and Maryland, Aaron has entrenched himself in active industry involvement throughout his career affording him the ability to bring relevant firsthand experience to his role. During his tenure, he has worked with the SCRS board to launch impactful programs such as the Repairer Driven Education series at the SEMA Show, the Repairer Driven News online information source, and to help found and manage nationally acclaimed industry resources such as the Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG), which Schulenburg served as the first administrator of.

Aaron has been highlighted by his membership as a creative and positive leader within the collision industry, and brings insight on areas of focus for collision repair professionals, garnered through SCRS’ national position in the industry.

Jason Bartanen

Director of Industry Technical Relations for I-CAR

Bartanen leads I-CAR’s Repairability Technical Support (RTS) Initiative and leads the organization’s technical relationships with vehicle, tool, equipment, product, and material manufactures. Bartanen has oversight of the I-CAR RTS Portal; a website designed to communicate collision repair information that contributes to complete, safe, and quality repairs. Bartanen is responsible for oversight of all I‑CAR technical content, including courses, videos, and other I‑CAR technical publications. 

Bartanen also has responsibility for oversight of all I-CAR curriculum and product development. Bartanen started with I-CAR in 1996 as a Technical Writer and has BA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Bartanen is an I-CAR Platinum Individual and ASE Certified in collision repair. 

Jake Rodenroth

Director of Industry Relations at asTech®

Jake hails from Jacksonville, FL where he started working on cars with his father.  At eighteen he entered the automotive business as a technician for Mercedes Benz.  After working on the mechanical side, Jake spent the next 13 years with Osteen’s Auto Body working in various roles.

Jake previously worked for ABRA Auto Body & Glass, where he served on ABRA’s integration team and helped add over 100 repair centers to the company’s portfolio in less than two years.  He also helped build and support a technical hotline for all ABRA locations nationally.  

At asTech®, Jake is responsible for Industry and OEM relations nationally.  He has worked with companies like ICAR and Verifacts to create awareness and build curriculum about diagnostics in the collision space.   He also works with groups like SCRS and Collision Advice to help educate the industry on constantly changing vehicle technology. 

Kyle Holt

Jacob Findlay

Founder and CEO of Fullbay

Jacob Findlay is the founder and CEO of Fullbay. A CPA by trade, he graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting and started his career with Deloitte & Touche. In public accounting, his clients included Taser International, Fender Musical Instruments, and Rockford Fosgate. He later joined and ran the finance and accounting team for an electronic medical records startup, CareFX, which was later acquired by Harris Corporation. He then joined another startup, WebPT, in the CFO role and helped grow the company until its acquisition by Battery Ventures, a private equity group. In 2015, he launched Fullbay, a shop management system platform for the commercial repair industry.

Trish Serratore

Senior Vice President, Communications for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

Trish Serratore is the Senior Vice President, Communications for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Her responsibilities include oversight, development, and direction of all public relations, advertising, marketing outreach and media strategies, and functions targeted to the consumer, industry and other publics for ASE. She assists with the development and implementation of strategic direction.

Prior to her current position, Serratore was president of the ASE Education Foundation, the education arm of ASE where she oversaw automotive program accreditation at secondary and post-secondary institutions as well as student career development initiatives.

Trish has received the Automotive Hall of Fame’s Young Leadership and Excellence Award for outstanding achievements in the automotive industry and the Akzo Nobel award as one of the most influential women in the collision repair industry. She also has been named one of the “Top 100 Women in the Automotive Industry” by Automotive News.

She spends her free time with her family and their 1932 Ford Hot Rod.

Tim Spurlock

President for American Diesel Training Centers

Tim Spurlock founded American Diesel Training Centers in 2017 using an innovative model of 300 hours of hands-on training supported by cutting edge learning technology and curriculum.  In 16 months ADTC has become one of the top 10 producers of diesel mechanics in the United States.  Its graduates work for more than 80 companies including every OEM dealer.  Many of its graduates work for independent shops.


ADTC uses an innovative sharing model where it partners with shops to deploy its recruiting and training system.  This provides the shop with a new income stream by monetizing its existing resources and facilities.  ADTC currently has 12 locations either launched or in development to launch by April.

Wes Severi

Jim Saeli

Jim Saeli is a senior service consultant, instructor and shop inspector for DRIVE. With more than 30 years of industry experience and having owned a shop of his own, Jim is a highly requested keynote speaker, specializing in areas of management, marketing and employee relations. Jim resides in New York with his wife of 28 years; they have 2 children.

Jim Anderson

Owner, Anderson Automotive

Jim has more than 30 years of experience in automotive repair. In 1999, after working as a technician for more than a decade, he opened Anderson Automotive in Marion, Iowa. Jim has been a client of DRIVE (formerly known as Management Success) since 2004 and is celebrating his fourth year working with the consulting team as an instructor and shop inspector. Jim is a Master Elite of Shop Management and has been recognized as the only shop in Iowa to receive the BBB Integrity Award.

Larry Monroe

Larry has extensive experience using industry-specific tools of management helping people and businesses for over 30 years. He was part of the consultant team in the development of the SBA program and has been an expert with DRIVE (formerly known as Management Success) since 1994, assisting small business owners throughout the United States and Canada. Jim Goepfrich

Industry Advocacy & Development ManagerDRIVE

Jim Goepfrich has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, most recently working as the Development Manager for NAPA AutoTech Training. There he mastered how to accurately develop and present training materials for technicians, service managers, and managers in NAPA AutoCare shops and other wholesale customers throughout the United States and Canada. Jim also relates to the perks and challenges of a repair shop owner. He is an ASE Master Tech and owned and operated Goepfrich Investments, Inc. In this role, he ran multiple automotive-related DBAs, serving as a 12-bay service station, providing body repair, paint, and car detailing services. With his current position at DRIVE, Jim builds and strengthens industry partnerships, serves as an advocate for the automotive, collision and truck repair aftermarkets, and curates and delivers training content for trade events and development.

Karla Vice

Karla is one of the most senior Business Advisors at DRIVE with over 15 years of experience helping shops all over the United States and Canada. She works with shops of all sizes and has personally helped hundreds of shop owners achieve their goals. She is also a skilled instructor, teaching many workshops on a variety of subjects, including marketing and deep diving into shop financials. Her specialty is in helping shop owners get organized so they can move their shops to the next level. She has shown time and again that her purpose is to help business owners succeed. She constantly works to find the best resources to help each and every shop owner she works with to get them to the next level of expansion.
